Gary Barnes

Has over 25 years experience within the marketing arena, offering his expertise to a huge variety of projects and campaigns throughout that time. His grounding is in design and print where he has demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge of print solutions and techniques to the benefit of many clients such as L'Oreal, Carphone Warehouse, Learning and Skills Council and Randstad. Over the years he has developed a more integrated and progressive approach, and currently adds social media marketing to his marketing mix abilities.

Bringing an idea to fruition is where Gary has always been enthralled by the whole creative process. Developing that idea for the client across the different media disciplines, whilst overcoming difficulties and keeping to budget, is the challenge that he finds continuously exciting and he hopes to be able to contribute to this process in the many years to come.

Gary sits voluntarily on the board of the Ealing and Hillingdon Education Business Partnership and relishes the opportunity to help develop the skills and learning of young people at school as they prepare for the world of work.

Jack developed the UK Mini-Enterprise in Schools Project that introduced through teacher in-service training the running of a business in Primary and Secondary schools. This initiative was achieved with the support across the UK of the Nat West Bank and the Department of Trade and Industry and delivered practical examples of how to start up a business.

In Europe with the involvement of United Biscuits (UK) Ltd Jack developed training programmes for teachers in Gyor Hungary, that introduced new teaching techniques including group work and problem solving to the staff of the secondary schools.
